Effective date: August 1, 2026
The app has been renamed. Quran Aloud was previously published as Quran Memorize Pro. It is the same app, from the same developer, and these Terms cover both names. If your device still shows the old name, you are running an older version and can update from the App Store or Google Play.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and AccessibilityX LLC ("AccessibilityX", "we", "our", "us") governing your use of the Quran Aloud mobile application ("Quran Aloud" or the "App") on iOS and Android.
By downloading, installing, or using Quran Aloud, you agree to these Terms.
You must comply with applicable laws and with the rules of the app store you obtained the App from (the Apple App Store or Google Play) when using Quran Aloud. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Quran Aloud for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, in accordance with the usage rules of the applicable app store.
Quran Aloud is provided free of charge. There are no advertisements, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. If this ever changes, we will say so clearly before it takes effect and it will never apply retroactively to content you have already downloaded.
Quran Aloud provides Quran recitation playback, reading of the Quran text and translations, and memorization support tools. Features may evolve over time, including offline bundles, downloadable audio packs, additional reciters, and additional translations.
The App is designed to be used with assistive technologies including VoiceOver and TalkBack. We aim to keep it usable without sight, but we do not warrant that every feature is equally usable in every configuration; where a limitation is known, we try to say so in the App.
Quran Aloud requires an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to consent in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or disable accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which deletes your account-linked data.
You agree not to:
The Arabic Quran text, translations into other languages, and recitation audio are provided from sources believed to be lawfully distributable, including public-domain sources and third-party Quran content providers. Translations remain the work of their respective translators and publishers, and are provided for personal study.
Content downloaded for offline use is licensed to you for personal use within the App only. You are responsible for complying with applicable local law regarding use of downloaded content. If you believe any content infringes rights, or that any text or translation contains an error, contact us at the email below with sufficient detail for review; we take reports about the accuracy of Quranic text seriously and will act on them promptly.
We may release updates, modify features, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time. Some features require internet connectivity, including downloading audio, syncing bookmarks, and signing in.
Required updates. We may require you to install an update in order to keep using the App, for example where an older version has a security problem, relies on a service that has been withdrawn, or would otherwise not work correctly. Where we do this, the App will tell you and provide a link to the update.
Quran Aloud is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AccessibilityX LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the App.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting the App.
For the iOS version: these Terms are between you and AccessibilityX LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. To the extent these Terms grant rights to Apple as a third-party beneficiary, Apple may enforce those rights.
For the Android version: these Terms are between you and AccessibilityX LLC, not Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Your use of Google Play is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
