Privacy Policy for Quran Memorize Pro

This Privacy Policy explains how AccessibilityX LLC ("AccessibilityX", "we", "our", "us") handles information when you use the Quran Memorize Pro mobile application ("Quran Memorize Pro" or the "App").

1. Scope

This policy applies to Quran Memorize Pro on iOS and related support services we operate for the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information you provide

Quran Memorize Pro requires an account to use the App. You sign in with email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google. Through sign-in we receive your email address and an opaque account identifier (a "user ID"). We do not request your name, contacts, or location. If you use Sign in with Apple with a private relay address, we receive only that relay address.

2.2 Bookmarks (account-linked, when signed in)

If you create bookmarks, we store them (the surah/ayah and any free-text tags you add) so they are backed up and can sync across your devices. Bookmarks are stored in Google Firebase Firestore under your account's user ID and are readable and writable only by you. When you are signed out, bookmarks remain only on your device.

2.3 Information processed on your device

The App stores data locally to provide functionality, such as playback preferences (speed, repeat), session state (selected surah/ayah, mode), reading preferences, and downloaded audio and related metadata.

2.4 Usage analytics (consent-based)

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used (for example, which screens and controls are used, and listening/reading activity). These events contain only opaque identifiers, enumerations, and counts — never your name, email, contacts, or precise location. We attach your device's Language & Region (from system settings) to segment usage; this is not GPS or location-permission data.

• Consent is region-aware. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, analytics is off until you opt in on first launch. Elsewhere it is on by default and you can opt out at any time in Settings → "Share Analytics."
• Pseudonymous, not anonymous. When you are signed in and analytics is enabled, we attach your account user ID (an opaque random string — never your email or name) so usage can be understood per account. The map from user ID to email lives only in the access-controlled authentication system.
• No tracking, no ads. The App does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not show ads, does not use App Tracking Transparency tracking, and does not sell or share your data for cross-app tracking. Google advertising signals are disabled.

2.5 Technical data from service operation

When the App communicates with our servers, a CDN, or Google Firebase, infrastructure providers may process standard technical logs (for example, IP address, timestamp, requested resource, and user-agent) for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide account sign-in and secure access to the App
• Back up and sync your bookmarks across your devices
• Understand and improve how the App is used (with your consent where required)
• Deliver content requested by users
• Maintain app security, reliability, and performance

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use service providers strictly to operate the App, including Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, analytics, and remote configuration) and hosting/CDN providers. These providers process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Data Retention

• Account data and account-linked bookmarks are retained until you delete them or delete your account.
• Analytics data is retained for a limited period (currently up to 14 months) and then deleted or aggregated.
• Locally stored settings and downloaded audio remain on your device until you delete them or remove the App.
• Server-side technical logs are retained only as long as needed for operational and security purposes.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Analytics: turn analytics on or off at any time in Settings → "Share Analytics." Where opt-in applies (EEA/UK/Switzerland), analytics stays off until you choose to enable it.
• Delete your account and data: in Settings you can delete your account. This deletes your authentication record, your account-linked bookmarks stored in Firestore, and disassociates your analytics user ID.
• Access/erasure requests: you may contact us using the details below to exercise applicable rights (access, correction, deletion, and objection), including under GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Delete local data: remove downloaded audio in the App, or uninstall the App.

7. Children

Quran Memorize Pro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

Data in transit is protected with TLS and data at rest in Firebase is encrypted by default. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. International Processing

Service providers we use (including Google Firebase) may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date.
